  1. I am having a problem with a chicken wing on my driver swing. Any drills that might be able to help me?

    • Frank,
Use my baseball drill. Hold the club out in front of you like you were going to hit a baseball off the high tee(t-ball). Now, just swing the club back horizontally and at the back of your swing …think…home run … And swing for the fence. Tell me if you chicken wing that? Since your answer will be ..no! Then use the same feel for when you tilt and address a normally teed up ball. Swing for the fence and don’t worry where it goes. Do this drill 10 times before you hit a ball.
Let me know how you do and more power to ya.

  2. Very well presented; thank you.

  3. This is a great illustration of how to increase lag–excellent instruction.

  4. I’m so glad you explained what you mean by “Ignition”! And I must say that is the best demonstration and explanation I’ve seen of the pump drill.

What do you have for drills to increase hip strength, flexibility and turning speed?

    • It
s been 2 WEEKS and my comment is still awaiting “moderation”??!!

    • Stan, the man.
I have several drills and exercises for you. One for rotation is to take a folding chair or stool and sit down with your back straight. Take your arms and cross them in front of you like a Russian dancer. Now keeping an upright posture, turn and hold your backswing for a count of 3.Then reverse the move to your follow thru. This exercise helps with loosening your lower back and hips.(flexibility)
Also try my exercise of laying down on your back and bend your knees and bring your feet up and off the ground. With your feet slightly in the air, start making a figure eight with your knees. This has helped me release my hips .
Thanks for the question, and more power to ya
